New Delhi: The controversy has once again hit the headlines in the world of cricket ever since Australian cricketer Cameron Bancroft made a big revelation that more than three people were aware of the sandpaper case. Meanwhile, cricket australia's (CA) integrity team has reportedly contacted the right-handed batsman to find out if they have more information about the matter.

Cricket Australia sources told the media that the integrity team has actually contacted Bancroft and is currently waiting for his reply. Australian captains Steve Smith and David Warner as well as Bancroft have faced a ban over the case. He is currently in England and playing county cricket there. In an interview to The Guardian recently, he said that more than three people were aware of ball tampering.

He said all he wanted was to be accountable and responsible for his actions and role. Certainly what they did benefited the other bowlers and they were aware of it. It is clear in itself. Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood were involved in the Australian bowling attack in the Test against South Africa at Newlands.
