Indore: Australian Legends defeated Bangladesh Legends on the last ball to register a thrilling three-wickets win in the 11th match of the Road Safety T20 World Series. This is Australia Legends' first win in this tournament and at one time their defeat seemed certain, but Brad Haddin (58 runs in 37 balls, 3 fours, and 4 sixes) played blistering innings to give the team a surprise victory| He was also named player of the match

Earlier, Bangladesh Legends had a very poor start| Their top order once again failed to perform. Bangladesh had lost the wickets of Mehrab Hossain, Nazimuddin, and Aftab Ahmed to the score of 37. After that, Alok Kapali (20 runs in 20 balls) and Nazmat Sadat (20 runs in 26 balls) tried to handle the team, but they failed to play in big innings and their strike rate was also not special.

Play stopped on the wicket of Najmat Sadat and Abul Hasan:-

Nazmat Sadat was caught by Watson on a personal score of 20 runs. However, the game was halted for some time on this ball, as the umpires were checking if Smith's ball was a no-ball. Due to this, the help of the third umpire was taken, and then Sadat had to return to the pavilion. In fact, Smith had bowled a full toss, on which Sadat was caught directly by Watson in the process of playing a big shot. At the same time, Abul Hasan also went out attempting to steal a run.   However, the matter was so close that the third umpire also gave Abul Hasan out after checking from three or four angles.   In the middle overs, John Hastings looted 39 runs in his two overs, with 26 runs coming through wide and that was the reason why some extra runs were added to the Bangladesh team's score.

Ilyas Sunny scored the most runs for Bangladesh. He scored 32 runs in 29 balls with the help of two fours and sixes.  At the same time, Mohammad Sharif (14 runs in 10 balls, 2 sixes) and Dollar Mahmood (17 runs in 9 balls, 2 fours, 1 six) scored fast runs at the end to take Bangladesh Legends to a score of 158-9. For Australia Legends, Brett Lee, Dirk Nannes, John Hastings, Shane Watson, Nathan Reardon, George Horlin, and Bryce McGrain each took one wicket.

Chasing a target of 159 runs, Australia Legends lost opener Cameron White in the first over. From there, captain Shane Watson and Callum Ferguson gave the team a quick start by scoring runs in a stormy manner. Watson scored 35 runs in 21 balls with the help of 5 fours, and 1 six, while Ferguson scored 24 runs in 20 balls with the help of 4 and 2 sixes. When both of them were playing, it seemed that the Australian team would easily win this match. But Elias Sunny bowled lethally, taking 4 wickets for just 8 runs in 4 overs and Australia once again came on the backfoot.

Brad Haddin snatches victory from Bangladesh's jaws:-

With a score of 122, the team lost seven wickets and even needed 21 runs to win in the last over. Bangladesh's team seemed to be heading towards victory. But Australian legend Haddin hit a six off the second ball and three fours in the last three balls to give the team a spectacular victory. For Bangladesh Legends, Ilyas Sunny took 4 wickets, Abdur Razzak took 2 and Abul Hasan took one wicket.
