Kolkata: The auction for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going on today i.e. Thursday in West Bengal's capital Kolkata. There are a total of 332 cricketers in this auction. Of these, 186 Indians, 143 foreigners and 3 associates are players of the country. 8 franchisees are bidding to buy all these players.

The auction began with the name of Australian player Chris Lynn. He has been bought by Mumbai Indians in his base price. Chennai Super Kings have included Sam Karan in their team for 5.50 crores. Australia's Pacer Pat Cummins has been bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 15.5 crore. Cummins has become the most expensive foreign cricketer in the history of IPL. Aaron Finch has been bought by Royal Bangalore for Rs 4.40 crore.

Jason Roy has been bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 1.50 crore, Robin Uthappa joined Rajasthan Royals for Rs 3 crore. England captain Eoin Morgan has been bought by Kolkata for 5.25 crores. Glenn Maxwell has been bought by Kings XI Punjab for 10.75 crores. Chris Morris has been bought by Bangalore for Rs 10 crore, Sam Karan has been bought by Chennai Super Kings.
