Australian goalkeeper Mitchell Langerk of Japan's soccer J-League first division team Nagoya Grampus has been found to be coronavirus positive. Langerk is the second player from the club to be infected with Corona. According to a report by Japan's news agency Kyodo, Langerk, who played eight international matches for Australia, however, did not have any symptoms.

According to the news agency's report, before this the corona report of Nagoya striker Moo Kanazaki came positive. Kanazaki, 31, had complained of a headache and fever after the team's training session. After this, his corona investigation was done, the report of which came positive. After this, 26 players who came in contact with him got their test done.

Langerk joined Nagoya in January 2018. Prior to this he has played for clubs like Dortmund and Stuttgard of Bundesliga. Preparations to resume the J-League season may come as a shock. Last week itself, a decision was taken to start the First Division League from July 4 in the empty stadium.
