Melbourne: Australia women's cricket captain Alyssa Healy has left behind former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in connection with wicketkeeping in international T20 cricket on Sunday. Healy has overtaken Dhoni in the highest wicket-taking case in T20 and now she has become the most known wicketkeeper in both men's and women's cricket.
Healy has made this in the second T20 match against New Zealand. Healy has now taken 92 wickets in 99 T20 Internationals. She is one step ahead of Dhoni. Dhoni has 91 wickets. After Healy, 39-year-old Sarah Taylor of England has taken 74 wickets. Rachael Prest has taken 72 wickets. Merissa Aguilleira has taken 70 wickets. She is followed by Dinesh Ramdin, who has 63 victims. After Ramdin, Mushfiqur Rahim is the one who has taken 61 wickets.
If seen in all formats, South Africa's Mark Boucher is at the forefront. Boucher has taken 998 wickets in 467 international matches. He is followed by Australia's legendary wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist. Gilchrist has taken 905 wickets in 396 international matches. Dhoni is in third place. Dhoni has 829 wickets in 538 matches. Dhoni had said goodbye to international cricket last month.
