Australian cricketer Steve Smith who is in the news headlines for his allegedly involved in the ball-tampering case.Yesterday Steve Smith broke down emotionally while speaking at the press conference. In the wake of the ball-tampering case due to which he has been banned for 12 months by his nation's cricket board CA. While a wave of sympathy has followed Smith who apologized for his wrongdoing. 

The British press continues to poke fun at the Australian team, not ready to simply stop commenting on the scandal that has stunned the cricket world from head to toe.

Today the Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan showed sympathy for the Australian cricketer Steve Smith.  Varun on Thursday night tweeted a photograph of Smith and captioned: "Watching StevenSmit apologize and look broken is very sad. I'm sure the fans will forgive him. He looks beyond remorseful. I hope and pray he will come out of this ordeal a better cricketer. The mental the emotional trauma I'm sure is bigger than any ban."

Smith's deputy David Warner also stepped down as vice-captain. Wicketkeeper Tim Paine acted as captain at Newlands, with both Smith and Warner taking the field on March 25.
