Author of The Cut's sexist article tweets 'sincerely apologises' to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

Earlier, this week, a journalist of American ‘The Cut’ magazine published a controversial article questioning Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' marriage. The article in which lady journo called PeeCee a global scam artiste, however deleted after having criticism all over the world. Worth mention here Minutes after the article was made its way to social media, it received annoyance from the Twitterati, Bollywood Celebes and even Priyanka's in-laws.

Due to the harsh hostile response, The Cut had to delete the article and issued an official apology which read, "An earlier story about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas did not meet our standards. We've removed it and apologize."

 And This time now, the writer of the article, Mariah Smith taking the full responsibility apologised for her words.

"I sincerely apologize to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas and to the readers I offended and hurt with my words. I do not condone racism, xenophobia, or sexism. I take full responsibility for what I wrote and I was wrong, I am truly sorry," Mariah wrote on twitter.

Point to be noted that a few days ago when Priyanka Chopra was asked to stated on the same at an event in Delhi, the global icon had told, "I don't even want to react or comment. It's not even in my stratosphere. I'm in a happy place at this moment. These kinds of random things can't disturb it."
