New Delhi: The auto driver was stabbed to death with a knife when he stopped to comment on the daughter on Tuesday afternoon in the Pulprahladpur police station area of the south-East district of the city. The accused brothers had stabbed about six with knives over the auto driver. The auto driver was taken to Majahad Hospital, where he died during treatment. The police arrested the two brothers in a case of murder on Tuesday evening.
According to information received from sources, south-east District police DCP Chinmaya Biswal said that the accused and the victims are neighbours. Police had received a quarrel at the taxman number two-Lal, Pulprahladpur, at around 12 noon Tuesday. When the police arrived at the spot, it was found that there was a tiff between taxman number two, Krishna (24), accused living in Lalkuan and the deceased Rakesh (26) living in Taxman number-two Lalkuan.
Krish is said to have made some remarks about Rakesh's three-year-old daughter. The two had quarrelled over it. At that time, the neighbours had been able to rescue the case. About an hour and a half later, Rakesh reached Krishna's house with wife Pooja and brother Mukesh and started calling Krishna out.
Krishna came out of the house with her brother Ranjit (26). The two sides then started quarrelling. Pooja has alleged that Krishna and her brother Ranjit had stabbed her husband Rakesh several times on the stomach with pointy knives.
