Fastag RFID system is going to be implemented on the tollplaza of NHAI from December 15 across the country. The government has taken this step to end the long jams on the toll plazas. It will be necessary to put Fastags on all vehicles. The government's intention is to have something else on Fastag. The government is now preparing to make fastag 2.0 necessary for parking.

Taking a significant step, the government has started a necessary project and the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways has started a pilot project at Hyderabad Airport. Under this project, parking at Hyderabad Airport will be paid through Fastag. NHAI sources say that this projector will be launched in two phases. In the first phase, payment will be taken only from the fastag issued by ICICI Bank.

It is to be noted that the funds will be recovered from the fastags issued by all banks at Hyderabad Airport. The ministry says that they want to make the use of Fastag more widespread in addition to tolls. The government has named it Fastag 2.0. In this, parking payment, purchase of petrol and diesel etc. can be done through Fastag.

At the same time, the government is going to start another big preparation through Fastag. The government plans that Fastag 2.0 can be used to fill petrol and diesel at fuel stations and payment of e-challan can also be done with Fastag. That is, if you break any traffic rules here, then the challan will be immediately cut through your fastag.
