Hyundai Motor India Limited has quietly restructured its Grand i10 line-up in the midst of the sixth phase in auto turquoise recently. The company has removed all diesel and automatic variants of the Grand i10. Apart from this, the petrol line-up has also been reduced to only 2 variants (Sportz and Magna). The Grand i10 is now available in only one engine and transmission option. It is now coming with a 1.2-liter petrol motor with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Customers will still have the option to choose from a standard engine or by-fuel variant (CNG / Petrol).

In the standard petrol configuration, the engine generates 83hp power and 114 Nm peak torque. At the same time, petrol and CNG fuels in the bi-fuel variant generate 81.6 hp power / 110 Nm torque and 66.3hp power / 98 Nm torque respectively. The CNG engine option will only be available in the Sportz trim. However, it is not clear yet whether the engine has been updated to meet the requirements of BS6 emission norms.

It is to be noted that after the Grand i10 line-up is restructured, Era and Asta trims will no longer be available in Hyundai showrooms. The Hyundai Grand i10 will now be priced between Rs 5.83 lakh and Rs 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom price in Delhi). Pricing-wise will be above the Grand i10 Santro, which is priced between Rs 4.3 lakh and Rs 5.79 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.

The Grand i10 will no longer feature features such as push-button start/stop, fully automatic climate control, height-adjustable driver seat, rear wash wipers, and alloy wheels after the top-end Asta variant has been discontinued. However, customers will still find power-folding ORVMs, There will be a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with rear parking camera, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto support. Apart from this, paint options have also been reduced to 4 (Titan Gray, Fiery Red, Typhoon Silver, and Polar White).
