The good news now for electric car drivers is that they will no longer have to worry about its charging as the government is planning to build several charging stations in the only Delhi in the country. Delhi-based EVI Technologies (EVIT) signed an MoU (MoU) for 10 years with telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) to build battery swapping and charging stations for electric vehicles. EVI Technologies (EVIT), a Delhi-based start-up company, is growing very fast in India and is one of the companies providing infrastructure for electric vehicle charging in India.

The company has said that under the agreement, EVIT will own the entire investment initially. This includes everything from operating and maintaining the battery charging facility. It states that the public sector company BSNL will also provide the necessary space and power connections for battery charging facilities. Under a 10-year agreement between EVIT and BSNL, EVIT will provide battery charging facilities at more than five thousand BSNL locations across the country. There will be battery replacement as well as battery charging facilities.
