TVS is soon to launch TVS Apache RTR 160 and Apache RTR 160 4V. This bike has been spotted during the ARAI testing in Pune. The company has been working on the new Apache RTR 160 and Apache 160 4V for the last few months, which will be equipped with the new BS-6 engine. According to the report, this bike has been seen during testing. Let us know that Apache RTR 160 4V has proved to be a popular model of the company and it targets youth directly.
Talking about the engine, then the Apache RTR 160 has a strong air-cooled engine of 159.7 cc. This bike gives a maximum speed of 15 PS at 8,500 rpm and a torque of 13 Nm at 6,500 rpm. At the same time, Apache leaves 16.28 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 14.8 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Whenever an engine is converted to BS-6, the internal of its exhaust changes. The new LED headlight will also be included in the bike along with the BS-6 engine. Also, a new instrument cluster can be added to it, which can also be equipped with Bluetooth connectivity feature. Fuel injection will also be available in the bike.
Talking about its price, then after converting TVS Apache RTR 160 to BS-6, its price will also increase. Currently the ex-showroom price of BS-4 bike is Rs 87,573. But after getting the BS-6 update, its price may increase by eight to ten thousand, i.e. this bike will start from ex showroom price 92,000. The company can launch these bikes before April 1, 2020.
