The festive season has proved lucky for the country's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, after the recent decline in the auto market. On the same November 1, companies told that in October last month, there has been a jump of 4.5 percent in car sales. The same company has sold 144,277 units of units in the domestic market during this period. In October 2018, the company had sold 138,100 units.

The reason for the huge discount: In the past seven months, it has seen a 4.5 percent increase in the sales of Maruti Suzuki cars for the first time. The same reason behind this increase has been considered to be a discount on more inventory in the festive season. At the same time, the total car sales of the company were 153,435 units, compared to 146766 units last year.  

Sales up by 7 to 10% There has been a significant jump in the sales of the company till 25 October. At the same time, the country's number three car manufacturer Mahindra has also seen a 100 percent jump in sales on Dhanteras.

Delivery of more than 60000 cars: From Navratri to Dussehra, Maruti Suzuki has delivered more than 60000 cars, while Hyundai Motors has delivered 25000 cars. At the same time, Maruti Suzuki delivered 45 thousand cars on Dhanteras, while the figure of Hyundai was 14 thousand cars. Maruti car sales were higher in Navratri and Dussehra this year than last year.

Retail sales increased by 30 percent: According to sources, during this period, the highest demand for vehicles was in the north and east states, which accounted for 50 to 55 percent of the total sales of passenger cars and two-wheelers. At the same time, Hyundai has also admitted that there has been a 10 per cent jump in sales in Navratri, and has also performed well on Dhanteras. Retail sales on Dhanteras have increased by 30 per cent as compared to last year. Compared still reduced by 7-8 per cent.
