One of the most awaited movies of the year, Avatar The Way of Water has finally hit the theatre screen. The movie has started its run in Indian theaters on the right note. The film opened to is being lauded for its exceptional VFX and is being highly hyped for its storytelling. The film is doing really well in India. After 11 days the collection of film finally saw a decline but it is far better than circus.

Avatar: The Way of Water has had a great first 10 days at the box office and well, it has, in fact, managed to surpass the Rs 7,000 crore mark at the global box office. According to Box office reports the numbers too, seem to be seeing a decline. On the film's second Monday, December 26, 2022, the movie witnessed a decline in numbers. The sci-fi film has a crucial week ahead of it as it will determine its long theatrical run. On December 26, the film saw a dip in collections compared to Sunday, December 25. According to trade reports, the film is estimated to have earned nearly Rs 13 crore on Monday.

Speaking of Avatar, "Avatar" is followed a paraplegic marine Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), who becomes an unlikely champion for the Na'vi, the 10-foot-tall and blue-skinned, sapient humanoids, in their fight for survival. The film featured Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver. Avengers: End Game released in 2019 had garnered collections of about ₹53.10 crore on the first day of its release, Spider-Man: No Way Home collected ₹32.67 crore at the box office on its first day of release in 2021. Meanwhile, Avengers: Infinity War, released in 2018, earned ₹31.30 crore on the first day of its release.
