Marvel’s superhero flick Avengers: Endgame has broke many records at the box-office. The film has already collected more than Rs. 150 crore on its third day. The film added Rs 31.05 crore more to its kitty. The film’s total earning, after a four-day run in cinemas, stands at Rs 189.70 crore.
Box office collection: Avengers: Endgame collects this huge amount in just 5 days
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, on Tuesday afternoon, posted the film’s latest business figures on his Twitter account. He wrote, “#AvengersEndgame continues its incredible run... Is *beyond outstanding* on Day 4 [Mon]... Will cross ₹ 200 cr mark on Day 5 [Tue]... Fri 53.60 cr, Sat 52.20 cr, Sun 52.85 cr, Mon 31.05 cr. Total: ₹ 189.70 cr Nett BOC. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 225.83 cr.”
The film has surpassed the lifetime collection of 2016’s Jungle Book (Rs 188 crore) to emerge the second highest-grossing Hollywood film in India, behind only the last year’s Avengers: Infinity War (Rs 227.43 crore). It is now also the second highest-grossing film of 2019 with Uri: The Surgical Strike (Rs 245.36 crore) being the top earner.
Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper and Josh Brolin.
