The new Avenis sporty scooter was launched by Suzuki Motorcycle India on Thursday. The new sporty scooter is positioned as a direct competitor to the TVS NTorq and Honda Dio. It has a price of 86,700 Rs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The scooter comes with a slew of new features that, according to the firm, will appeal to the scooter's target demographic of young people. It also comes with the Suzuki Smart Connect application, which enables it to connect to smartphones.
A 125cc engine with FI technology is at the core of the new Suzuki Avenis. This engine has a maximum power output of 8.7 PS at 6750 rpm and a torque output of 10Nm at 5500 rpm. The scooter is only 106 kg in weight.
Suzuki Ride Connect with a large and bold Turn-By-Turn Navigation system is one of the scooter's primary features. It also has a body-mounted LED headlight and LED tail lights, which adds to the scooter's elegance.
The scooter will be available in five colours, including a Metallic Triton Blue Race Edition edition that will be accessible across India. This Race Edition variant will be equipped with Suzuki racing graphics appealing to the distinctive personality of a spirited rider.
