Award-winning actress 'Parvathy' gets trolled on social media

Regularly, stars gets trolled on social media by bad comments or something else. Now, an another incident came in forward when 'Qarib Qarib Singlle' actress Parvathy who spoke the dialogues in veteran actor Mammootty's film 'misogynist', has become the latest victim of cyber-bullying.

The award-winning actress was badly trolled and abused on various social media platform by the fans of the Malayalam superstar, some days after she gave her comments.

The lady has been called as "cheap feminist" on various platforms by the trollers. Buts state Finance Minister T M Thomas Isaac and "Women in Cinema Collective", an outfit of women in Malayalam cinema provided a support to the talented actress.

The actress than tweeted while giving a strong reply to trollers, “Cinema can reflect all aspects of society and all kinds of people. The good, the bad and the ugly. But no! It cannot glorify injustice and violence as 'cool' & 'mass' entertainment”. "She is currently facing a fierce cyber attack. The abuse is in the name of some anti-women content in a movie. Such violent traits against women are highly deplorable," said Minister Thomas Isaac, in order to condemn the online attacks.  

Parvathy, is known for her variety of roles in various languages including Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi, has been received the award of 'Best Actress' in the recently concluded International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and the lady is also the winner of Kerala State Film Award.
