Mount Abu is a hill station in western India’s Rajasthan state, near the Gujarat border. Set on a high rocky plateau in the Aravalli Range and surrounded by forest, it offers a relatively cool climate and views over the arid plains below.

Guru Shikhar

Guru Shikhar is the highest peak of Mt. Abu. It offers the best view in the whole of Mt. Abu. The fresh air and the cold surrounding are incredibly beautiful. A temple that is dedicated to Guru Dattatreya, lies on the way to the peak.

Dilwara Temple

This forms a famous pilgrimage of the followers of Jainism. The striking use of marble, in the construction of this temple, is truly worth-admiring. Dilwara Temples are an example of perfect architecture, in terms of Jain Temples. The ceilings have intricate carved designs, entryways, pillars and panels that highlight the aesthetic appeal of this temple.

Nakki Lake

Mount Abu has the highest artificial lake in India, the picturesque Nakki Lake. The beautiful hills surrounding it make it a popular picnic spot offering boating facilities. One will also come across a lot of luxurious and stylish summer houses that were once the retreats of the Maharajas and their families.

Toad Rock

This rock is situated close to Nakki Lake. As the name suggests, it is a giant rock structure that resembles a toad. It is situated in the Aravalli Mountain range with pleasant atmosphere. It is also famous for trekking and rock climbing. You get an amazing view of the hills and lakes from the top of this rock.

Brahma Kumari

This is the World Spiritual University, which is the world headquarters of the Brahma Kumaris, an organization dedicated to teaching Raja Yoga and other forms of Meditation.
