New Delhi: The All India Hindu Mahasabha has filed an affidavit on the Molding of Relief in the Supreme Court regarding the Ayodhya land dispute. At the same time, the Muslim party has also filed the Molding of Relief. Both parties have filed the note in a sealed envelope. The Hindu Mahasabha has demanded the court to form a trust for temple construction and order. The Hindu Mahasabha says that the court can give orders on how to manage the property.

The word that caught everyone's attention during the 40-day hearing in the Ayodhya Ram Temple and Babri Masjid case was the Molding of Relief. Provision is made for cases involving civil suits. The apex court exercises this right under Article 142 and Section 151 of CPC. The petitioner reaches the court with his demand and if that demand is not met then what is the option that can be given to him.

In the context of the Ayodhya case, if one party gets the right to own the disputed land of more than one claimant, then what will the other parties get in lieu of it. The court gave three days to all parties to give written notes on the molding of relief. However, the court will also have to look into the extent to which the Molding of Relief principle can be applied. The bench had made it clear that there would be no oral debate now.
