NEW DELHI: Supreme Court is still hearing the Ayodhya case today. Nirmohi Akhara's lawyer Sushil Kumar Jain is debating the case in court. Nirmohi Arena says he is seeking ownership and possession. Ownership is not about ownership but possession, they should be occupied on Ram Janmabhoomi.

Earlier on Tuesday, about 4-and-a-half hours was put on its side by Nirmohi Arena. During the hearing, Nirmohi Akhara's lawyer Sushil Jain claimed that the Akhara was claiming the disputed land as the manager of the temple, while the rest of the Hindu parties were claiming it only by citing the right to worship. Since 1949, there have been no prayers, so there is no claim from the Muslim side.

The Supreme Court questioned Nirmohi Arena, which was occupied by the government in 1949, the court's stand in 1959 by Nirmohi Akhara, a case filed by the Sunni Waqf Board in 1961. Does it not violate the time limit for filing a case for a claim in a civil case? Sushil Jain, on behalf of Nirmohi Akhara, replied that our claim on the land is old, historical and has been in possession of it since 1934. The deadline was not violated here by them.
