NEW DELHI: A day-to-day hearing has been started in the Supreme Court from Tuesday over the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid controversy in Ayodhya. The trial continued in court today. A five-judge bench headed by SC Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi is hearing the case. The hearing was held again today. On Tuesday, arguments were made on behalf of the Nirmohi Akhara and now the arguments from the Ramlala side are being held abruptly.

03.08 PM: Parasaran on the behalf of Akhara told the court that even in the British Raj, when the East India Company had divided the place, the mosque was replaced by the temple of Ram Janmasthan. He also cited the example of Valmiki's Ramayana during this period.

02.55 PM: Lawyer Parasaran further stated that the matter was linked to the sentiments of the Hindus in the country. People consider Ramjanmabhoomi to be the birthplace of Lord Rama. The Puranas and historical documents also provide evidence of this.

02.33 PM: SC Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi asked Nirmohi Arena to present evidence related to Ramjanmabhoomi in the next two hours. Justice Chandrachud then asked us to show us the original documents related to Ramjanmabhoomi. After which, the counsel for Nirmohi Akhara said that all the documents were registered in the Allahabad High Court Judgement. With this statement, the argument of Nirmohi Arena ended. At the moment, Senior Advocate Parasaran, from Ramlala, is appearing to present his arguments.
