Ayodhya: The apex court in the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi and Babri Masjid controversy case held a hearing on Thursday. Meanwhile, a three-member panel set up by the apex court submitted its report to the court on Thursday. Meanwhile, the apex court has said that the arbitration panel will submit its final report by July 31. The court posted the matter for further hearing on August 2.

The Constitution Bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi heard the Ayodhya land dispute case. During the hearing, CJI Ranjan Gogoi, after seeing the report of the mediation panel, said that the panel should submit its final report by July 31. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said, "We are not taking the report of the arbitration panel on record as it is highly confidential. During the hearing, CJI Gogoi said that if the report did not yield any positive results, we would consider the issue of hearing in the matter on August 2.

CJI Ranjan Gogoi said further issues will be scheduled for the hearing on the same day. A lawyer before CJI Ranjan Gogoi has said that there are some flaws in the translation of documents related to the case. On this, CJI Ranjan Gogoi said, "We will mark and correct it during the hearing on August 2. The court has not spoken today on the issue of daily hearing.
