Ayodhya: A number of questions have been raised about the ongoing Sri Ram temple construction in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Recently, it was alleged that a land worth Rs 2 crore used for temple construction was purchased for Rs 18 crore. After these allegations, the political turmoil continues. Meanwhile, Ayodhya Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay has come forward and made a statement on the entire controversy.

Talking to media, Rishikesh Upadhyay said that the Ram Mandir Trust has issued a statement making it clear that the land was on a years-old contract and has been given its name. I am a witness in all subjects as mayor.  Rishikesh Upadhyay said that the money transferred has been a witness to it. On how the price rose in ten minutes, the mayor has said that the contract is years old, which people are being told a few minutes. Those who are raising the issue are political people. Those who have problems with Lord Ram are raising this issue.

On the market rate of land in Ayodhya, the mayor said that it can be ascertained what the market rate is. Today, the government is also taking land for airports and other things at a higher price. Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay said there could be no question of any discrepancy as money has been given online by the trust.
