The Ram temple in Ayodhya officially opened its doors to the public on Tuesday, following the ceremonial Pran Pratistha of Ram Lalla, a day earlier. The event drew the presence of prominent figures from across India. On Tuesday, a multitude of devotees gathered in Ayodhya, comprising both locals and visitors from different states.

Late on Monday, a substantial crowd gathered near the main gateway along the Ram Path leading to the temple complex, eagerly seeking entry to the premises. Security measures were heightened at the temple, witnessing a significant influx of devotees at the main gate, eager to have a 'Darshan' of Ram Lalla since the grand opening.

Devotees began flocking to the temple as early as 3 am to offer their prayers. The police stationed at the Ram Mandir had informed the large crowd on Monday, gathered near the ceremonial gateway adorned for the consecration ceremony, that the temple would be open to the public starting Tuesday.

Despite the intense cold weather, devotees were spotted taking a dip in the Saryu River adjacent to the temple. On Monday, an idol of the new Ram Lalla was consecrated at the Ayodhya temple in an event led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the ceremony, PM Modi called for a vision extending beyond the temple's construction, emphasizing the need to build the foundation of a "strong, capable, and divine" India for the next 1,000 years.

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, constructed in the traditional Nagara style, boasts dimensions of 380 feet in length (east-west) and 250 feet in width. Towering at a height of 161 feet above the ground, the temple is supported by 392 pillars and features 44 doors. The intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, Gods, and Goddesses adorn the pillars and walls of the temple. In the sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the idol of Shri Ramlalla, representing the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram, is enthroned.
