Ayodhya: Questions are being raised over the land purchased by The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Pilgrimage Trust in Ayodhya. The scam in the purchase of land has been alleged. Tej Narayan Pandey alias Pawan Pandey, former MLA of Ayodhya and minister of state in the Samajwadi Party (SP) government, has questioned the issue while holding a press conference.

He has alleged that the land was banned for Rs 2 crore and on the same day again an agreement was signed for Rs 18.5 crore. Trustee Anil Mishra and Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay are witnesses in both the agreement and the banama. On 18th March, 2021, about 10 minutes ago, banama was also held and then why was the agreement made for Rs. 18.5 crores 10 minutes after the land which was purchased for Rs. 2 crores?  Pawan Pandey has raised questions as to how the land worth Rs 2 crore became 18.5 crore in minutes. He said ram devotees are being cheated on the pretext of buying land in the name of Ram temple. He also claimed that the mayor and trustee knew the whole game of buying land. The whole matter should be investigated CBI.

Pawan Pandey claims that 17 crore RTGS, which accounts were paid from, should also be investigated. There is corruption in the purchase of land in the name of Lord Ram. 12080 square metres, which means 1.208 hectares of land was sold and engraved by Baba Haridas to Sultan Ansari and Ravi Mohan Tiwari and the same was purchased by the trust. In 10 minutes, the price of the land increased by 16 crores.
