Ancient city Ayodhya's heritage, a facsimile of a Ram temple, will echo with  Jai Sri Ram’ in  'Deepotsav' and various stories from Ramayana epic have been depicted in the tableau of Uttar Pradesh which will be showcased in the Republic Day parade on January 26, today.

The administrative officer of the cultural department, Ram Teerth, said that about 20 artistes from Mathura and Delhi will be engaged to play different episodes of Ram Lila. Besides this, several murals depicting Lord Rama eating berries from Shabri, Lord Hanuman bringing Sanjeevani, Lord Rama embracing Nisharaj, Jatayu-Ram Samvad, Ashok Vatika etc have been created in the tableau, he added.

The officer claimed that an artiste from Chandauli, who will be dressed as Lord Rama with bow in his hand, will be the star attraction of the tableau. Ayodhya MP Lallu Singh has sent a letter to PM Modi thanking him on behalf of seers and people of Ayodhya for including the UP’s tableau on Ram temple and Ayodhya. “Entire world knows about Lord Rama.

The tableau on Ayodhya and Ram temple will bring Ayodhya on the world tourism map,” reacted Mahant Satyendra Das, Chief Priest, makeshift Ram Lala temple. "We thank Modi ji and Yogi ji for giving respect to Sanatan Dharm and followers of Lord Rama,” said Mahant Kanhaiya Das. VHP spokesperson Sharad Sharma said that people of the country are elated over the inclusion of the Ayodhya tableau in the Republic Day parade. “Lord Rama is revered by millions of people across the globe.
