Ayushmann Khurrana had made debut with the film Vicky Donor which released on April 20, 2012.  movie received a lot of love from the film critics as well as from the audience. Annu Kapoor, who played Dr Chaddha in the film won National Film Award for the best supporting actor and the movie won three National Film Award in total. Now, exactly 7 years after the release of Vicky Donor, Ayushmann Khurrana reunited with Annu Kapoor for his upcoming film Dream Girl.

Ayushmann shared a picture with Annu Kapoor and wrote on Twitter, "It was quite surreal that the day we completed #7yearsofVickyDonor, we shot together for #Dreamgirl where Annu kapoor sir plays my father."

Yesterday while celebrating 7 years of Vicky Donor, Ayushmann Khurrana thanked John Abraham, who produced the film. Sharing a throwback picture with him, he wrote, "Thank you @TheJohnAbraham #7YearsOfVickyDonor". To which John replied, "You will always be special to me @ayushmannk So proud of you."

Box office collection: Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt's Kalank fails to witness growth

The first look poster of the film was released last year which featured Ayushmann Khurrana in a saree. The movie was announced in quite a quirky way.  The movie is helmed by Raaj Shaandilya and is produced by Ekta Kapoor. Nushrat Bharucha will be seen as the female lead. It is slated for a September 13 release.
