The film is an upcoming political action thriller 'Anek'. Talking about his role in this upcoming film 'Anek', Ayushmann Khurrana said, 'This is the first time the audience will see me in this role. I have played a cop in the past too, but this is the first time he will see me going undercover.

The actor said, 'Joshua' in the film Anek is smart and intelligent. He knows how to find his way around people and not only in physical ability but with his sharp mind he can also take on the bad guys. I was very excited to try myself playing Joshua, as it gave me an opportunity to do something I had never done before. I am indebted to our viewers for providing new experiences with each film.
