Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte starrer AndhaDhun has got priased by the critics as well as by the audience. The film has done a decent business at the box-office.Now, the film has been released in China and  it has set off fireworks at the Chinese box-office. The crime thriller, released in China as Piano Player, grew remarkably on Friday as it collected $ 3.36 million. Its total collection, after a three-day run in cinemas, stands at $ 6.46 million, which is equivalent to Rs 44.70 crore in Indian currency. The film released on on Wednesday and  opened with a collection of $ 1.32 million. On Thursday, it saw a slight jump and added $ 1.78 million more to its kitty.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote,” #AndhaDhun embarks on a fantastic start in #China... A mid-week release [Wed], it nears $ 6.5 mn [till Fri], which is remarkable...Wed $ 1.32 mn. Thu $ 1.78 mn, Fri $ 3.36 mn, Total: $ 6.46 mn [₹ 44.70 cr] $ 12 mn [+/-] *extended* weekend on the cards... Incredible!”

AndhaDhun, directed by Sriram Raghavan, tells the story of a piano player who unwillingly gets embroiled in the murder of a yesteryear actor. At the recently-concluded 64th Filmfare Awards, AndhaDhun won five awards. Besides being named as the Best Film (Critics), it bagged trophies for Best Screenplay, Best Editing and Best Background Score. Ayushmann received the Best Actor (Critics) award for his outstanding performance.
