Govt to launch the virtual exhibition on 75th anniversary of Independence

New Delhi: On the occasion of 75 years of the country's independence, the government is planning to introduce a virtual exhibition to showcase India's freedom struggle as an 'Amrut Mahotsav of Independence.' A mobile app will also be introduced for this purpose. The multimedia exhibition is expected to connect India's younger generation and overseas Indians with the heroes and symbols of India's freedom struggle and will run on a digital platform chosen by the government.

According to the same news portal, it will tell the story of India's freedom struggle. It will tell about "the journey of India's transformation from colonization in the 17th century to India's independence in 1947" and its transformation to contemporary India. The exhibition will display rare images, videos, GIFs, and sound bytes.

According to reports, it will showcase the sacrifices and struggles of revolutionaries like Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sarojini Naidu, Chakraborty Rajagopalachari, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bipin Chandra Pal, Lala Lajpat Rai, and Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Ram Prasad. Virtual exhibitions will have features like 'easy navigation.' The government is also hiring an agency to assess the success of virtual exhibitions through real-time data analytics.
