Lucknow: The training program of newly elected MLAs of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly has started from around 2 pm today (Saturday), but Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Azam Khan, who came out of Sitapur jail, will not participate in this training. His son and SP MLA Abdullah Azam from Swar seat will also not participate in it. In fact, this training of technology under e-Vidhan to the legislators will be given by the experts of NIC.

Let us inform that today is the last day of the orientation program which started from Friday, in which it is a part of the training program itself. Azam Khan is the MLA of Samajwadi Party (SP) from Rampur city seat and Abdullah Azam from Swar seat of Rampur. After being released from jail, Azam Khan seems to be keeping distance from any political or government program. In such a situation, it is also being discussed whether being an MLA, he will participate in the budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly starting from May 23. This session will run till 31st May.

Let us inform that the Yogi government is going to present the first budget of its second term on 26 May. However, Azam Khan will have to meet the Speaker of the Assembly before taking the oath of office, as the court did not allow Azam Khan to take oath in the assembly while in jail.
