Lucknow: A case of sending empty cartridges through speed post in Azamgarh district of eastern Uttar Pradesh has come to light. Police are also stunned after a cache of empty cartridges was recovered. Police have taken possession of the empty cartridge and detained a person. Police have taken the man into custody and are interrogating him.

According to the information received, a speed post had come to Darora village under the Kandharapur police station area of Azamgarh district. The postman suspected the parcel in the name of a person from the village through speed post. The docker reported it to his superiors. The parcel was opened in their presence by calling the police in the directions of the authorities. All the officers present were stunned to see what was in the parcel.
 
In fact, the parcel sent through Speed Post contained 370 empty cartridges. This information was also given to the top officials of the police department. Higher police officers also rushed to the spot after receiving the information. The parcel was sent from Chhattisgarh in the name of a man from Darora village. Police have taken one person into custody in the case. The police team is interrogating the person taken into custody.
