Ranchi: Azim Premji University is going to be established in Ranchi, Jharkhand. For this, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of CM Hemant Soren and PPF President Azim Premji. Azim Premji, President, Azim Premji Foundation was present on this occasion through video conference.

On Saturday, the Jharkhand government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Azim Premji Foundation (APF) to set up the Azim Premji University in Ranchi. An official statement said that the university will be built in the Itki area of ​​the city and is likely to be operational by July 2024. CM Soren said that I am sure that the university will increase the standard of higher education in the state. Now the meritorious students of the state will not have to migrate to other states for higher education. He said that the aim of the government is to provide quality and employable education to the students here. Wipro founder Premji said that he wants to work for the development and upliftment of the people of Jharkhand. At the same time, he said that apart from establishing the university and raising the level of quality education, the foundation works in collaboration with the state government for development in various fields.

On the other hand, 5600 schools merged in Jharkhand will be reopened. Preparations for opening these schools are in the final stage. Those closed schools, where the buildings are dilapidated, they will not be opened, while education in other schools will be resumed. The teachers who were working in the respective schools will be brought back from other schools and posted. At the same time, the children coming to the nutritious area will be taught in this school.
