Bollywood celebrities, on Tuesday, paid their respects to father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 149th birth anniversary. Taking to their  social media handles  B- town gems like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Tapse Pannu, Sui Dhaga- Made in India  stars Aushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan wrote about the Nation’s beloved Bapu.

'October' star Varun Dhawan who is enjoying decent box office success of his recently released flick 'Sui Dhaaga: Made in India' tweeted a video along with a message saying, " To the man who stitched India's spirit with threads of self-reliance. We salute the Father of our Nation. Celebrate this Gandhi Jayanti with your family by watching."

Sharing the same video his costar Anushka wrote in his Twitter handle, “This #GandhiJayanti, we salute the teachings of the man who's truly Made in India. Let's celebrate his spirit with #SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia”.

On the other hand Bollywood King Khan appeled his fans to keep the nation hygienic through his Gandhi Jayanti tweet. “Kyunki desh humse hai aur hum desh se...@SwachhBharatGov @PMOIndia #SwachhBharat #MyCleanIndia”, He captioned his video messege.

Senior actor of B-town  Anupam Kher tweeted," Respected Bapu, I bow down to you on your birthday. You tend to trend on @twitter only today or on January 30th. But you trend in every Indian's heart from August 15, 1947. Do not take tension. The country is going well”.
