Kedarnath: The world-famous Lord Kedar's Panchmukhi Chal Vigraha Utsav palanquin has left for Kedarnath Dham from its winter shrine Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath. This morning, devotees gathered to send palanquin to the Dham. After two years due to the Corona epidemic, a wonderful confluence of faith towards Baba Kedar was seen. The eyes of the devotees were moist while bidding farewell to Baba. Now on May 6, at 6.25 am, Baba Kedar's gates will be opened. 

In fact, during the 6 months of winter, Lord Omkareshwar temple resides in Ukhimath. As soon as summer arrives, Baba Kedar's palanquin is dispatched to Kedarnath on the scheduled date. According to the same tradition, the movable Vigraha idol of Lord Kedar will make a night stay at Guptkashi tonight, Phata on Tuesday and Gauri Kund on May 4. On the 5th, the palanquin will reach Kedarnath and on May 6, at 6.25 am, the gates of Kedarnath temple will be opened for devotees. 

A huge crowd of devotees gathered today to leave the Winter Shrine Omkareshwar temple, Ukhimath, to flag off the palanquin. Baba left for Kedar amid the cheers of thousands of devotees. After two years of the Corona epidemic, there was a surge of faith. There was tremendous enthusiasm among the devotees towards Baba. Thousands of devotees are also walking along with Baba's foot palanquin yatra.
