Allopathy Vs Ayurveda: Baba Ramdev reaches SC, demands shifting of all cases registered against him to Delhi

New Delhi: Cases were registered against Yoga guru Baba Ramdev in the battle of Allopathy vs. Ayurveda in various states of the country. Baba Ramdev has filed a petition in the apex court in this regard. Ramdev in his petition has sought a stay on the FIR registered by IMA Patna and Raipur and shift the FIR to Delhi.

Just recently, an FIR was lodged against yoga guru Baba Ramdev in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The case was registered against him for spreading misinformation about allopathic medicines being given in corona treatment. The Chhattisgarh unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has lodged an FIR. Raipur SSP Ajay Yadav had said that a case has been registered against Ramdev under sections 188, 269 and 504. A case has been registered against him on charges of negligence in the epidemic, insulting him with intent to spread unrest. A complaint filed by the IMA said Ramdev had spread wrong information.

Baba Ramdev was earlier booked by IMA in Patna for making a video of him speaking against allopathy and making fun of doctors. Baba Ramdev was booked under Section 186/188/269/270/336/420/499/504/505, 51, 52, 54 Disaster Management Act 2005 and under Epidemic Diseases Act .
