New Delhi: Former Team India captain Virat Kohli is going to return to the cricket field through the Asia Cup. After the England tour, Kohli had sought rest from the BCCI for the West Indies tour and he is also not included in Team India on the upcoming Zimbabwe tour. Kohli is currently facing the worst form of his career, due to which cricket experts keep giving various types of advice along with finding flaws in his batting. In such a situation, now the reaction of former Pakistan fast bowler Aaqib Javed has come out. He has made this statement while comparing Kohli with Babar Azam.

Aaqib Javed said that technically strong batsmen like Babar Azam, Kane Williamson and Joe Root will rarely go through such poor form as Kohli. Javed feels Kohli is struggling so much because of his changing technique. It is going to be almost 1000 days since Kohli scored a century in international cricket. He said "There are two types of great players. One is players who, if stuck somewhere, their rough patch lasts for a long time. There are other technically strong players like Babar Azam, Kane Williamson, and Joe Root, whose rough patches may not continue for so long. It is difficult to ascertain their weakness. Kohli is sometimes stuck on those balls outside the off-stump. James Anderson has targeted him many times.''

He explained "The previous day I was watching him bat and I thought he was now deliberately trying not to play those balls from a distance. When you change your technique, these problems will come up. To come out of this, he can try to play a big inning without being alert. This will help him to maintain the purple patch for a long time.''
