Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh Shia Waqf Board Chairman Wasim Rizvi will convert to Hinduism today on the anniversary of babri demolition. Rizvi had announced it only recently. Wasim Rizvi will receive the initiation of Hinduism at Dasna temple in Ghaziabad. Security has been beefed up at the Dasna temple in Ghaziabad after Rizvi was announced to become a Hindu. According to reports, Wasim Rizvi will be initiated into Hinduism today by Yati Narsimhanandgiri Maharaj, priest of Dasna temple.
 
Notably, Rizvi constantly makes headlines for his statements. Rizvi had also released his vasihat in the past. He is said to join Hinduism today i.e. 6th December at 10 pm. On the other hand, based on the complaint of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, a case was registered against Wasim Rizvi and his associates under sections 153A, 295A and other sections of the IPC. In fact, Rizvi has written a book in which he commented on the God of a particular community.

Meanwhile, the administration is on alert on the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition. Security arrangements for Mathura, Kashi and Ayodhya have been cordoned off. A high alert has been sounded across the state. ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said security arrangements are being monitored and no rituals will be allowed in the state.
