Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is identified as a jurist, social reformer and a powerful politician. He is also called the father of the Indian Constitution. As a noted politician in the country, his efforts to eliminate untouchability and caste restrictions and other social evils were notable. He devoted his entire life to empowering Dalits and backward classes and protecting their rights. The first law minister of independent India, Bhimrao Ambedkar is not only identified as a freedom fighter but he is also a leader in the great men of India.

Because of his legal understanding, on 29 August 1947, Ambedkar was appointed as the Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee for the creation of the new Constitution of independent India. Ambedkar earned praise from his colleagues and contemporary observers in this draft work.

For your information, let us tell you that in this work, Ambedkar's study of the early Buddhist Sangha customs and other Buddhist texts was very useful. Union practice includes voting by ballot, rules of debate, precedence and use of agenda, committees and proposals for working. The Sangha customs themselves were based on the model (model) of governance of ancient republics such as Shakya and Lichchhavi. Ambedkar has used the Western model to shape the constitution, in which constitution provisions have been taken from various countries including British, Ireland, USA, Canada and France but his sentiment is Indian.
