Baby deer rescued from well in Odisha

Kendrapara, a fawn has been rescued by the forest personnel that had accidentally fallen into a well in Krushnanagar village beside Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha's Kendrapara district.

A forest official said that, the baby deer was in a distressed condition.

The animal was dragged out of the well yesterday after it got entangled in the net, the official said.

After that, the animal released inside the mangrove forest cover area of the national park.
