Gwalior: Once again bad news has come from Kuno National Park located in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday afternoon. Now a cheetah cub has died. This cub was found ill by monitoring of Kuno Park Management and died due to treatment. PCCF Wildlife Jasveer Singh Chauhan has confirmed this. The female cheetah Jwala (Siya), brought from Namibia, gave birth to 4 cubs in the park on March 24 itself. Now there are 17 cheetahs and 3 cubs left in the park. Since last year, 3 cheetahs and one cub have died.

It should be noted that in the span of last 2 months, there was despair due to the death of 3 cheetahs from Kuno National Park. Meanwhile, Siya (Jwala) had given birth to 4 cubs on March 24 last. On Mother's Day, the four cubs were seen playing pranks with their mother. These pictures brought relief from Kuno management to the central government. But now the death of a cub has put the management in worry.

PCCF Wildlife Jasveer Singh Chauhan had told the media after the video of female cheetah and cubs surfaced that the four cubs are completely healthy along with their mother Jwala. The eyes of the cheetahs have opened and they are seen walking.
