Badhaai Ho Review:
The Kaushiks who live in Delhi’s Lodhi colony after having unexpected good news face taunts and teasing from the next home through adjoining balconies and windows. So, Jeetender and his wife Priyamvada get the knee-jerk reactions come from members of the Kaushik household and Neighbours, even the two sons are shocked by the fact that their parents still have an active sexual love life .Even the head of the family grandmom (Surekha Sikri) is horror-struck by the news.
Neena Gupta is outstanding in her portrayal of the unsettled mother while Gajraj Rao’s performance is the most excellent thing about 'Badhaai Ho'.
Ayushmann also delivers top-form, playing the son who feels the brunt of the social stress so much and his relationship with his girlfriend, Reene (played by Sanya Malhotra) gets affected. Surekha Sikri, who plays the dadi with her special role force you to laugh. Sanya Malhotra plays the role of girl with modern attitude and performs tremendously her role.
This film sense of humours shows funny liberal drama. The movie tells the fact that romance and passions of love with sexually active life don’t see age. You can watch and enjoy the movie for many reasons like skillfull acting, pure comedy and unity of a family.
