The Combat Uniform of the Indian Army is changing and its first look will be seen in the Army Day Parade on January 15. For the first time, the marching squads in the Army Day Parade will be in accordance with the uniforms and weapons of the Indian Army at different times. Similarly, for the first time, the Army squads which will participate in the Republic Day parade will be in accordance with different rounds of uniforms.
Till now, army marching squads were divided according to different regiments in army day parade and republic day parade. But for the first time, they will be in different uniforms. According to sources, a marching squad will be in the pre-independence Army uniform and with weapons of the time. Similarly, a squad will march in the existing uniform of the Army, a 1962 uniform, a post-1971 uniform, a team of the 90s. A squad will be in the army's new combat uniform.
How's the new uniform:-
The indian army's new combat uniform has a digital pattern. According to sources, the chamoflaj (colour and pattern that does not appear and helps in hiding) in uniform is better. The Army of many countries, including the US, uses digital patterns. In the existing uniform, the shirt is inserted inside the pants and belted from the outside. The new uniform will have the belt inside and the shirt out. According to the Army officer, this will make it easier to work. Some changes have also been made in the fabric.
