The date of opening the doors of Badrinath Dham has been changed in view of the Corona lockdown. A decision will be taken on Tuesday on the new date of Kedarnath Dham kapat. On Monday, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj had a meeting with Tehri Maharaj Manujendra Shah. Meanwhile, due to the circumstances of the lockdown, the date of opening of the doors of Badrinath Dham was changed. Now the doors of Badrinath Dham will be opened on 15 May. The doors of Badrinath Dham will be opened on May 15 at 4:30 am.
This information was given by Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj. Earlier, the date of opening the doors of Badrinath Dham was fixed on April 30. The doors of Kedarnath Dham were to open on April 29. But due to Corona infection, the date of opening of the doors of the dham has been changed. In view of the Corona crisis, the administration had planned to allow only a few people to visit the dham during the inauguration of the dham. In view of the Corona crisis on behalf of the State Government and Devasthanam Board, the Tehri Raj Darbar had sought the opinion of changing the date of opening the doors of Badrinath Dham.
For your information, let us tell you that Buryan Chandra Uniyal, the bishop of Badrinath, said that by May 15, the outbreak of Corona will be largely eliminated. Every year, preparations started about a month before the opening of the kapat, some people associated with the Dham used to reach Badrinath for other arrangements including Rang Rogan in the temple, but all these activities are not being done due to the lockdown.
