Sahil Chadha and Promila are said to have met with a road accident on May 12.

Both of them were seriously injured in the accident and are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai where both are admitted. According to reports, the incident took place on May 12 when the couple was returning near Xavier's College in Mumbai. In the meantime, his car was suddenly hit by an ambulance. Both of them are said to have sustained injuries in the accident. According to reports, Promila suffered two fractures in her leg while Sahil Chadha sustained injuries on her stomach and thigh after being dragged by an ambulance for nearly two feet. The actor is likely to be discharged soon as he has not suffered any serious injuries in the accident.

Talking to a website about the accident, actor Sahil Chadha said, "We have escaped with god's blessings and the driver was also not driving at a high speed. However, the police have caught the driver. I think, it could have caused a major accident, which did not happen. I am currently under the supervision of doctors and blessed by God but what happened was very scary".
