Today i.e. 24 October is the birthday of Bahadur Shah Zafar, the last Mughal emperor of India. As soon as he is mentioned, there is the talk of his Urdu poetry and his love for Hindustan. The day of 21 September has been recorded in history for his arrest by the hands of the British ruler. To say, he was made the emperor in 1837, but by then the British had established their rule over a large area of the country.

For your information, let me tell you that in 1857, the spark of revolution erupted, all the rebel soldiers and kings and emperors considered him Emperor of India and he also called for the British to be expelled, but fought under the leadership of Bahadur Shah Zafar, 82 years old. This fight lasted only a few days and the British arrested him. He was prosecuted and exiled to Rangoon, where he breathed his last.

If we talk about his personal life, Emperor Bahadur Shah was born on October 24, 1775. It is said that Bahadur Shah Zafar was given the title of the Namagya emperor. After the death of his father Akbar Shah II in September 1837, he became Gaddinshin. Akbar Shah did not want to hand over the rule of Mughals for centuries to poet Hriday Zafar. By the time of the reign of Saundaryanuragi Bahadur Shah Zafar, anyway, Delhi was left only to rule the Delhi Sultanate i.e. Shahjahanabad.
