Counting of votes is going on in this seat from 8 am. Abbas Ansari is playing on the ticket of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SUBHSP) under the Samajwadi Party (SP) alliance. Let us inform that Mukhtar Ansari's son Abbas Ansari is following from Mau Sadar. BJP candidate Ashok Singh is leading by 2979 votes.

Let us tell you that the BJP has fielded Ashok Singh against Abbas Ansari. BSP state president Bhim Rajbhar is also contesting from this seat. The fate of Madhavendra Bahadur Singh of Congress is also to be decided from Mau Sadar. If we talk about the voting percentage, this time 57.91 percent voting was recorded in Mau Sadar assembly. Voting was held here in the seventh and final phase.

Mukhtar Ansari, imprisoned in jail from Mau Sadar seat, is the current MLA. In the 2017 assembly elections, he defeated Mahendra Rajbhar of Subhaspa by a margin of less than 10 thousand votes.
