Lucknow: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has released yet another list of candidates for the fifth phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. The list includes the names of 61 candidates. In this list of candidates, the names of candidates from Amethi, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Bahraich, Shrawasti and Gonda have been announced.

BSP has given tickets to Ragini Tiwari from Amethi, Naeem Ahem Khan from Behrit, Neetu Mishaira from Shrawasti and Haji Mohammad Zaki from Gonda. According to it, Swati Singh Katheria from Salon, Harivansh Kumar Dubey from Tiloi, Jitendra Kumar Saroj from Jagdishpur and Ramlakhan Shukla from Gauriganj have been fielded. Earlier, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) had released a shortlist of 4 candidates. It mentioned two seats where the candidates announced earlier were changed.

In this list, Mohammad Arif from Kasganj, Shane Ali from Pilibhit, Dr RA Usmani from Nighasan seat of Lakhimpur Kheri district and Hemvati Raj from Kasta (Reserved) have been fielded. This time, Uttar Pradesh will go to the polls in 7 phases. Up to date will go to the polls under these phases on February 10, February 14, February 20, February 23, February 27, March 3 and March 7, while the results will be out on March 10.
