Lucknow: The  Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has released another list of candidates for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The BSP has declared its candidates in 54 seats. Mayawati has fielded Khwaja Shamsuddin from Gorakhpur city seat against CM Yogi Adityanath.The BSP's list has announced the names of candidates for Gorakhpur as well as assembly seats in Kushinagar, Deoria, Ballia, Ambedkarnagar, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar and Basti districts. 

 

 

The party has also announced its candidates for the seats of Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj and Ballia districts. The BSP has given tickets to Pratik Pandey from Katehari seat in Ambedkarnagar district and Shabana Khatoon from the Tanda seat. While Chandraprakash Nishad has fielded Chandraprakash Nishad from Campierganj assembly seat in Gorakhpur, Deepak Agarwal from Pipraich, Dara Singh Nishad from Gorakhpur Rural seat. The BSP has declared Anju Singh from Sahajnawa, Vidyasagar from Khajni reserved seat, Virendra Pandey from Chauri-Chaura. Ram Nayan Azad will contest from Bansgaon and Rajendra Singh from Chillupar seat. 

The districts of Gorakhpur, Deoria and Ballia, for which the BSP has declared candidates, are going to polls in the sixth phase of UP elections. Polling for these seats will take place on March 3. The results of the election are due after the counting of votes on March 10.
