Bajaj Auto share price rises 2% following better sales figures

On September 1, Bajaj Auto's share climbed 2% in trading after the company reported good sales figures for August 2021. The company's total sales in August 2021 increased by 5% to 3,73,270 units, compared to 3,56,199 units in August 2020.

Domestic sales, on the other hand, were down 7% to 1,72,595 units from 1,85,879 units. Exports increased 18 percent year on year to 2,00,675 units from 170,320 units. Sales of total 2-wheelers increased by 5% to 3,38,310 units, up from 3,21,058 units in the previous year. Bajaj Auto was trading at Rs 3,802.60 at 09:22 hours, up to Rs 76.90, or 2.06%.

The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 4,361.20 and a 52-week low of Rs 2,823.35 on 04 February 2021 and 02 November 2020, respectively. Currently, it is trading 12.81 percent below its 52-week high and 34.68 percent above its 52-week low.
